Carli Simmonds holds a Master of Arts in Community Health Psychology from Northeastern University. From a young age, she witnessed the challenges her community faced with substance abuse, addiction, and mental health challenges, inspiring her dedication to the field. During her graduate studies, Carli helped facilitate a recovery program to educate and empower high-risk youth to make healthy choices.
Her experience also includes working as a Research Associate on projects exploring education, addiction, mental health, and various treatment methods, such as evaluating alternative therapies and resilience-building techniques for individuals in recovery. Now a freelance writer, Carli is passionate about sharing insights and resources with individuals and families seeking recovery and a better understanding of addiction.
